Lifeguards needed: Sun, fun, and a paycheck too!

The City of Yuma in desperate need of lifeguards

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Yuma is facing a lifeguard shortage and with the summer temps approaching it may mean fewer pools. The city's park and recreations department has already offered to refund their training course fee if an applicant joins their ranks.

But, with time running out the city has to either sweeten the deal or keep pools closed for the summer. So Parks and Recreations Director Jason Nau is hoping adding a $150 signing bonus may sway those debating joining the team.

Now, if you're interested or just need a little more information you can call the City of Yuma (928) 373-5000 or check out their website.
