175 new cases of COVID-19 in Sonora, death toll now at 204

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-COVID-19 cases keep rising in Sonora. As of Monday evening, 175 new cases are reported and 11 new deaths.

The 175 cases were reported in the following cities; Nogales 57, Cajeme 37, Hermosillo 35, San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC) 22, Caborca 9, Guaymas 4, Magdalena 4, Altar 2, Santa Ana 2, Nacozari de Garcia 1, Ures 1, Pitiquito 1.

The 11 deaths were reported in the following cities; SLRC 5, Hermosillo 2, Navojoa 2, Puerto Peñasco 1, Cajeme 1.

As of March 16, Sonora has 2,561 confirmed cases and 204 deaths.

Health officials say 1,759 cases are mild, 149 are in serious conditions, 264 are hospitalized, 334 have recovered.
