Yuma state parks extend closure due to coronavirus

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-The Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area (YCNHA) extends the closure of the Colorado River State Historic Park and Yuma Territorial Prison until further notice.

YCNHA says due to the numbers rising in Yuma County, they have decided to remain closed to protect employees and guests.

Last week, YCNHA decided to re-open its doors on June 1 by following safety measures.
