Sonora reports 104 new COVID-19 cases, 11 new deaths

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-COVID-19 cases and deaths keep rising in Sonora. Health officials report 104 new cases and 11 new deaths.

Health officials say the new cases were reported in the following cities; Hermosillo 53, Cajeme 24, Magdalena 5, Nogales 5, Guaymas 4, San Luis Rio Colorado 3, Agua Prieta 3, Santa Ana 2, Ures 1, Bacum 1, Benjamin Hill 1, Carbo 1, Puerto Peñasco 1.

The new deaths were reported in; Nogales 3, Hermosillo 3, San Luis Rio Colorado 2, Cajeme 2, and Caborca 1.

As of Thursday evening, Sonora has 2,032 cases. Hermosillo continues to lead with 664 cases.
