Additional Crane School District employee tests positive for coronavirus

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Crane Elementary School District informs the public another staff member has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

The school district says the employee's last day of work was May 18, and they are currently seeking medical attention.

District supervisors have notified all individuals who came into contact with the employee in question within the last two weeks. Notified employees will be tested and will self-quarantine at home for a 14-day period.

The school district has not specified at which school this employee worked.

Crane Elementary School District initially announced a staff-member tested positive on May 22. Since then, Great Beginnings Preschool has been closed to both the public and all employees.
