Restaurant owner going above and beyond for his patrons

YUMA (KECY, KYMA) - Rey Vasquez owns various Golden Corral restaurants in Arizona and each one is taking customer safety to new levels as they reopen Monday.

For starters, four employees per shift are solely assigned to sanitizing and disinfecting all the restaurants. Vasquez said employees are also required to wash their hands as frequently as possible. The food will be served to customers at their table in an effort to avoid cross-contamination.

Vasquez also said social distancing has been intensified with guided paths. Customers are also being asked to respect each other's boundaries by standing on specially marked stickers on the the floor. If you decide to visit Golden Corral or any other eatery the Centers for Disease Control recommend that you keep your distance from others, wear a mask covering your nose and mouth and try not to pay with cash. If you have to use cash, wash your hands as soon as possible.
