Sonora reports 19 new coronavirus cases with 3 new deaths

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-Three new coronavirus deaths are reported with an additional 19 new cases in Sonora.

The Secretary of Health for the state of Sonora reports the death toll is 34 with 288 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The three new deaths were reported in Nogales, San Luis Rio Colorado, and Cajeme.

The Sonora Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri says, “With these deaths, 34 have accumulated in Sonora, 21 women and 18 men, who correspond to the municipalities of San Luis Río Colorado 13; Caborca, Nogales, Magdalena, Hermosillo and Huatabampo 3 each; Sáric and Cajeme with 2 each; while Opodepe and Guaymas with 1 each ”, he indicated.

At the moment, San Luis Río Colorado is the city with the most incidents in Sonora, since it has registered 136 cases (47%), followed by Hermosillo with 63 cases (22%), Huatabampo 17, Cajeme 17, Nogales 12, Caborca ​​11, Guaymas 9, Navojoa 6; Magdalena and Sáric have 4 each; Agua Prieta 3; Opodepe and Etchojoa with 2 cases each, while Puerto Peñasco and General Plutarco Elías Calles with 1 case each.
