Gadsden Elementary School District grills over 4,000 pounds of chicken for students

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-The students from Gadsden Elementary School District #32 (GESD) get to enjoy over 4,000 pounds of grilled chicken for lunch.

GESD along with the Southwest Food Service had a blast grilling chicken for the students and staff to enjoy.

Students at Ed Pastor, Arizona Desert, Rio Colorado, Cesar Chavez, Desert View, and Southwest Junior High have already enjoyed their grilled chicken with fresh salsa, tortillas, corn, rice, and a complete fruit and vegetable bar.

Gadsden Elementary gets to enjoy some of the delicious food Thursday, February 20 while the San Luis Middle School gets to eat chicken Friday, February 21.
