The 15-pound tumor removed from a patient in Latvia

Woman treated growing lump with tea for two-years

RIGA, Latvia (KYMA, KECY) - Doctors made a stunning discovery during surgery on a Latvian woman. They found a 15-pound tumor growing amid the patient's internal organs.

The patient said she began noticing the tumor about two-years ago. She treated it with herbal tea.

It took hours for doctors to remove the massive growth. The surgical team had to move millimeter by millimeter, working around the woman's internal organs.

Doctors call it the largest tumor they've ever seen at the clinic. They're amazed the woman waited two-years to seek medical help.

In spite of its size, the tumor had not metastasized to other parts of the body. It was not cancerous.
