Body found wrapped in blankets in SLRC

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)- A dead body was found wrapped inside a blanket Friday morning in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

The Tribuna de San Luis reports the body was found by Avenidas Canada B and Dominicana.

Sources said neighbors called police to report what they believed was a person sleeping on the road.

However, when police arrived at the scene, they found a dead man's body covered in blankets.

Mexican authorities said the body didn't show any visible bruises.

According to the Tribuna de San Luis, the body has not been identified.

Police continue to investigate the cause of death.
