(KYMA, KECY)-The FBI and Mexican authorities are searching for a Southern California couple that went missing Friday.

NBC News reports that Maria Lopez, 65, and Jesus Guillen, 70, drove their truck down to Tijuana on Friday to collect rent from tenants at properties in Mexico, according to Garden Grove Police.

The family said the couple was supposed to return Friday afternoon but their daughter could not get in touch with them.

Reports show the daughter tried tracking the couple through the "find my phone" app and showed the couple was still at their property in Tijuana, but a relative said they were not around.

The daughter said the phone went dead and was unable to track them anymore.

Mexican police said the couples' truck was found near the property but no sign of Lopez or Guillen.

Garden Grove police encourage anyone with information about the two to call Detective Richard Desbiens at 714-741-5810.
