Dramatic doorbell video leads to arrest

Suspect now faces kidnapping and domestic violence charges

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - The release of some disturbing doorbell video puts a man behind bars.

The attack happened around one Thursday morning in Las Vegas.

Surveillance footage shows a frightened woman running from a white car to the door. She then bangs on the door and screams for help. Moments later you see a man get out of the car and run up to the woman. Video shows him punching and kicking her before dragging her back to the vehicle.

Las Vegas Metro Police released the video to the public shortly after the incident. Officers say, within two-hours, tips led them to 23-year-old Darnell Rodgers. They arrested Rodgers on charges of kidnapping and domestic violence.

Police aren't releasing any information on the victim or her relationship to Rodgers.
