Today’s weather forecast 12-19-19

-AQCAQ

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- A dry frontal system passing through the desert southwest Thursday will bring cooler daytime highs, mostly in the lower 60's across the lower deserts.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a building high pressure system Friday into the weekend will allow for a decent warm up with highs reaching near 70 degrees this weekend.

Clouds ahead of a Pacific storm system will move into the region as early as mid-day Saturday, but any rain chances should hold off until at least Monday.

A series of Pacific storm systems should then affect the region at times for much of next week providing fairly decent chances of showers, especially on Christmas eve.
