Tempe man wanted for stealing armored vehicle

TEMPE, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking help to find a man who is accused of stealing a Brink's armed vehicle on October 27.

According to the FBI, Juan Carlos Ramirez, 20, is accused of his involvement in the theft that happened in Tempe.

On November 7, Ramirez was charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft by the Superior Court of Maricopa County, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The FBI said Ramirez is described as 5'10 inches tall, 185 pounds, and has brown hair, and hazel eyes.

Brinks, the non-governmental organization is offering up to $2,500 for any information that may lead to his arrest.

Brinks is also offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the recovery of all the outstanding money taken in the theft.

The FBI said they have no involvement in the administration of this reward.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Juan Carlos Ramirez is asked to call the FBI's Phoenix Field Office at (623) 466-1999. Tips can also be reported to tips.fbi.gov
