City of Yuma

Bring a canned food item for admission!

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - Don't miss it!

Tonight, Saturday, November 30, the Yuma Tower will be lit with a Christmas glow.

Each year the Ken and Betty Borland Holiday Pageant and Tower Lighting ceremony ushers in the holiday season, sponsored by the Caballeros de Yuma.

Stop by for this once-a-year event, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Desert Sun stadium.

There will be many opportunities for family fun, including dance performances, Christmas carols, the tower lighting, and even a visit from Santa Claus himself.

Admission is a canned-food donation which will benefit the Yuma Food Bank.

The 200-foot iconic tower will be lit by Yuma's Citizen of the year, and will be able to be seen from far and wide.

You'll be able to see the lights each evening from the start of the event, until the first week of January.
