Heavy rain makes for messy Thanksgiving
Widespread flash flooding hits San Diego area
IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY/NBC News) - Strong storms made for a soggy holiday in the San Diego area.
Flash flooding blocked multiple roads across the county. Swift water rescue teams had to save several drivers stranded in rising water.
Video from Imperial Beach shows flood waters cutting a fast-moving, 100-foot path across a roadway.
Forecasters predict the storm will drop three-inches of rain in the valleys and up to six-inches of snow in the high desert.
