Five dead in a domestic shooting in San Diego
Father suspected in apparent murder-suicide
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - UPDATE: Multiple fatalities have been reported in a shooting that occurred in a San Diego residence Saturday morning.
San Diego Police (SDPD) officers making their way to the scene received an additional 9-1-1 call from a neighbor saying he heard arguing prior to the gunshots, reports NBC San Diego.
A 31-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old boy were pronounced dead inside a Paradise Hills residence.
A 5-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy died at a local hospital.Â
An additional 9-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital for emergency surgery. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
Lieutenant Matt Dobbs with SDPD believes the victims are all family members, with the suspect being among the dead.
SDPD Homicide continues to investigate.
