Migrants suffered severe dehydration

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) . El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents rescued three men in distress Sunday morning in the Jacumba Mountain Wilderness area south of Ocotillo.

Border Patrol got the call around 5:30 a.m.  One of the men told agents they were suffering from dehydration and needed help.

Border Search and Rescue (BORSTAR) responded immediately.  It located the men in a remote, mountainous area, administered fluids, and contacted emergency medical services in Ocotillo.

All three men were Mexican nationals.  After they received medical care, agents took them to El Centro station to be processed for illegal entry.
