Cause under investigation

The blaze broke out just before six a.m in an apartment near 10th Avenue and W. 1st Street.

An early morning apartment fire forced seven people out of their homes early Sunday morning.

Yuma Police helped Yuma firefighters get everyone affected out of the building. No one got hurt.

The blaze left six adults and one child homeless. Yuma Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers are helping all of them.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. YPD encourages anyone with information to call (928) 373-47200 or (928) 782-7463 to remain anonymous.
