KYMA debuts first studio set since 2014

Over the past five years, News 11 has brought viewers the stories of the desert southwest from our virtual set.

The green screen is commonly used in television production for its digital and visual effects.

However, heading into the new year, it was time for an upgrade.

News 11′ s contracting team, Master Finishes, along with several local businesses, worked tirelessly to build a state-of-the-art studio set.

The new studio includes a handmade anchor desk, LED and fluorescent lighting, 3D wall paneling, and high-quality broadcast technology.

The project spanned over months of designing, constructing, and intricately placing together each element to perfect the finished product.

Thursday, the studio set was finally revealed to viewers; Studio A, also known as KYMA News 11, where news will always come first.

Now coming to viewers from a modern, locally inspired custom studio.
