The Red Flag Warning continues today

A Red Flag Warning continues for both Yuma and Imperial Counties until 8 p.m. Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be strong winds and low relative humidity.

Affected areas include:

Yuma County
Martinez Lake and the vicinity
Arizona Lower Colorado River Valley
California Lower Colorado River Valley

Forecasters predict winds will range from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph .

NWS reports fuels are very dry and fire danger is very high. These conditions combined with low relative humidity and strong winds will lead to widespread hazardous fire weather conditions.
