Immigrants found locked in refrigerated truck

Two drivers face federal human smuggling charges after U.S. Border Patrol found 32 illegal immigrants locked in a refrigerated big rig.

It happened Monday at an immigration checkpoint near Tucson.

Border Patrol agents say a dog alerted them to the problem with the semi. They x-rayed the entire truck and discovered dozens of people locked in the trailer.

Agents say the trailer was chilled to 47-degrees, and few of the immigrants were dressed to handle the cold.

Homeland Security says Tucson Sector has intercepted several semis loaded with illegal immigrants so far this year.
