Yuma police looking for hit-and-run driver

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is searching for a person involved in a hit-and-run collision.

In a press release, YPD said that on Monday, October 14 at approximately 4:19 p.m., a white Chevrolet Tahoe made a right turn on a red light from 4th Avenue onto 32nd Street heading westbound.

A gold-colored Chevrolet Cavalier that was westbound on 32nd Street was hit and disabled by the Tahoe. The driver of Tahoe appeared to be a male with dark hair wearing a red shirt and was last seen westbound on 24th Street crossing Avenue B.

The Tahoe has damage to the left front bumper and has a California plate of 5YCZ396 registered out of King City.
