Yuma County could turn blue in upcoming elections

Yuma County could paint itself blue for the upcoming 2020 presidential elections. Currently, in the county, there are more than 30-thousand registered Democrats and about 25-thousand registered Republicans.

However, Bryan Rasmussen, Vice Chairman of the local Yuma County Democratic Party, said that it’s all about the voter turnout.

” Is the difference between a non-voting county and a voting county we only had a 49% turnout in 2018 and in 2016 we saw a 64 percent turnout, ” said Rasmussen.
