Frank Lloyd Wright house goes up for auction

The last home designed by legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright goes up for auction in Phoenix next month.

The ” Norman Lykes Home ” sits in the historic Biltmore neighborhood on the edge of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. Also known as the ” Circular Sun House, ” it’s 3,095 square feet with three bedrooms and three baths. All the property’s authentic mid-center modern furnishings are included.

Wright designed the home just before his death in April 1959. It was commissioned by Norman and Aimee Lykes .

The house has been on and off the market over the years. It was last listed at $2.7-million. However, Heritage Auctions says there will be no minimum starting bid.

The auction is scheduled for October 16 at 2 p.m.
