Weapons threat ends homecoming dance

Tuscon police detain and question two teenagers after a weapons threat forced an early end to a homecoming dance.

KGUN 9 News reports it happened Saturday night at Rincon High School.

Students notified teachers and administrators after seeing threats on social media.

Tucson police responded to the reports and shut down the dance.

Officers did not find any weapons, but they did detain and question two juveniles.

They continue to investigate where the online threats came from.
