Fugitive couple added to Most Wanted list

The U.S. Marshals Service today added a fugitive murder suspect to its 15 Most Wanted List, and i ncreased the reward for information leading to his arrest.

56-year-old Blane Barksdale and his 59-year old wife, Susan, are accused of the April murder of 72-year-old Frank Bligh in Tucson.

Investigators believe the Barksdales killed Bligh, and stole more than a hundred guns from his home, before setting the house on fire.

The couple faces charges of first degree murder, first degree burglary, arson, criminal damage, and auto theft.

Police arrested the couple in upstate New York, but they escaped custody during their extradition back to Arizona. They’ve been on the run since August 26th .

Today Marshals added Blane Barksdale to their 15 Most Wanted List and raised the reward for information leading to his arrest to $25,000. They’re offering a $10,000 reward for tips leading to his wife’s arrest.
