Local home destroyed from overflowing canal water
One Yuma family is asking for the community’s help after their home was completely destroyed by water after the canal that’s right behind their home overflowed.
” It took me more than 4 years to build this home, to have a roof over my head, ” said Thomas Felix, a local resident from Yuma.
Felix has lived in his home for decades a home he built with his bare hands, but last Saturday morning Felix’s worst fear happened, his every memory being washed away.
News 11 did reach out to the Yuma Water Users Association for comment, but they declined to speak due to not releasing clients personal information.
