Yuma’s enforcement detail Labor Day Weekend

Yuma County Sheriff’s Office ( YCSO ) will be conducting a DUI enforcement on Labor Day weekend, in hopes to prevent under the influence driving.

YCSO said they will be increasing patrols throughout Yuma County and conducting their DUI enforcement detail in an effort to detect, stop, and arrest alcohol and drug impaired drivers.

Areas with a high rate or recurrence for DUI-related collisions and arrests will be highly patrolled.

The Sheriff’s Office will be aggressively enforcing the state’s 0.08 percent blood alcohol concentration ( BAC ) law, Administrative Per Se laws, 0.04 percent BAC law for commercial vehicle drivers, and the 0.01 percent BAC limit for drivers under 21-years-old.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office encourages all citizens to be safe this holiday weekend, and if you plan to drink, use a designated sober driver.
