The Rock Church offers free resources through tour bus ministry

The Rock Church wanted to make a practical difference in the city of Yuma, and make it a home for those without a place to be.

Members wanted to extend love in a personal and meaningful way, so they decided to go on the road with the Rock Tour Bus.

” People provide food that they make themselves. Just last week we gave out 118 meals, ” said Paul Mondragon , pastor of The Rock Church. ” On a typical Saturday, we give haircuts, showers, and clothes. We are just so thankful for the community that supports us. ”

When they initially rolled out the idea, locals in the RV business and were so compelled and moved to participate in this idea one even donated a used RV.

Since then, they designed the layout of the bus, gave away supplies, bought a 16-foot-trailer. They also installed freshwater tanks and a generator that can power both the bus and the trailer.

The ministry is only in its first year and will only grow in size and impact during years to come.
