Update: Arizona’s first Great Wolf Lodge changes opening date

Arizonans and those visiting will soon have a new oasis to go to when trying to get out of the warm desert temps.

Great Wolf Lodges have become much more than just resorts, they’ve become the target destination for families all over the world, and Arizona has been waiting patiently for their resort to open.

News 11 has been following the story and when first reported, the resort was set to open in mid-October. Since that report the opening date has changed; normally the date is extended, but that’s not the case for the new Scottsdale resort. It is surprisingly different, as the opening date went from October to September 18 th and more recently September 9 th . The resort has 350 rooms and brings to Arizona their world renowned water park.

The resort also brings 650 new jobs to the Scottsdale are and is located within the Talking Stick Entertainment District.
