“Lucy I’m Home!” Meet Lucy and Philip

Meet Lucy, a dog with a young disposition which the Humane Society guesses to be just a little over 1- year- old.

Taken in as a stray, Lucy is looking for a loving home to give her the love and exercise she craves.

A strong, but gentle nature makes Lucy perfect for a family with older kids willing to go outside and throw a tennis ball around.

Lucy is high energy but after a long walk, she will sure to be up on the couch ready for belly rubs.

She has shown willingness to be trained…already fully a pro at “sit”.

She knows her name and will come when called….which will make it, even more, to say “Lucy I’m home”!

Philip, a creamy colored short hair with big, fluffy jowls and a short but active tail.

Three year-old-Philip seems to do well with other cats, as he made his way around the kennels, greeting his fellow crate mates.

Weighing in at 13 pounds, Philip did not mind being picked up and especially loved getting back scratches.

His calm demeanor led him to lounge out on the rug, content to simply watch the other cats or take any petting being offered.
