Two earthquakes hit Baja California
UPDATE (5:37 p.m.)
Two more aftershock quakes have been reported by the United States Geological Survey Monday evening. Six earthquakes in total have been reported.
A magnitude 3.6 quake was reported at 4:49 p.m. It was centered about 32 miles from San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.
A magnitude 3.5 quake was reported at 4:51 p.m. It was centered about 33 miles from Mexicali.
UPDATE (3:00 p.m.)
Two aftershock quakes have followed the two earthquakes that struck Baja California Monday afternoon.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 2.7 quake was reported at 2:47 p.m. It was centered about 28 miles from Mexicali. The second quake of magnitude 2.6 at 1:47 p.m. It was centered about 30 miles from Mexicali.

Two earthquakes struck Baja California Monday afternoon, with the effects being felt in Yuma and Imperial County.
The United States Geological Survey said the first quake hit at 1:18 p.m.(MST). It was a magnitude 4.8 earthquake. It was centered about 32 miles from San Luis, Ariz.
The second quake hit at 1:25 p.m. That was a magnitude 3.3 quake. It was centered about 32 miles south of Mexicali.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
