Tracking 80s through the weekend and early next week

A ridge of high pressure will stay in place, keeping our weather warm and dry through next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Friday! It was another warm afternoon with highs in the 80s.

Our evening we can expect chillier temperatures, light winds, with a few clouds. Nice weather to stay indoors making a gingerbread house to celebrate National Gingerbread House Day!

A ridge of high pressure will stay put for the next several days. This will keep our temperatures trending 10-15 degrees above-normal for the next several days.

Tracking additional clouds this weekend, but we are staying nice and dry. Daytime highs will be in the 80s through early next week.

Not tracking any major changes for next week as warmer than normal temperatures will persist. However, we may finally have a weather pattern change for Christmas week. I will keep tracking and bring details as we get closer.

On our temperature outlook, the Desert Southwest will continue to have unseasonably warm temperatures for the next 6-10 days.
