Topic of the Day: Are you concerned about the Dow decline?
TOPIC OF THE DAY
The Dow Jones industrial average took another dip Thursday afternoon.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also saw a decline. The market started the day just modestly lower but selling picked up as renewed concerns about inflation and higher interest rates grew.
Wall Street is struggling to stage a lasting rebound from Monday. Fears about the bond market sent the Dow plunging a record more than 11-hundred points. The latest round of selling knocked the Dow and S&P 500 back into the red for the year. It’s a big shift from 2017 and the beginning of 2018 when the stock market went the longest period ever without tumbling.
