Man arrested on charges of sexual abuse of a child

Update:

A Dome Valley man isn’t facing any charges for allegedly sexually abusing and molesting a child last week.

56-year-old Ernesto Marron Juarez appeared in court Thursday morning and was acquitted of all charges.

His wife 53-year-old Hilda B. Juarez was also not charged. She was arrested prior to one count of Failure to Report neglect of a minor.

On February 1st the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a possible sexual abuse and molestation case.

The victim told deputies that she had been sexually abused by Juarez at his home off East County 7th Street in Dome Valley, Ariz.

Wellton Justice Court clerk’s office says the case has been closed until further notice. We are still working to figure out the exact details of why the charges were dropped. We will have those answers to you as soon as they become available.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said a man from Dome Valley was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing and molesting a child last week.

Last Thursday at approximately 9:09 a.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a possible sexual abuse and molestation case.

Upon making contact with the victim, the victim told deputies that she had been sexually abused by the suspect at his home in the 18000 block of East County 7th Street in Dome Valley, Ariz.

Wednesday the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau made contact and interviewed the suspect and his wife in reference to the allegations.

Ernesto Marron Juarez, 56, of Dome Valley, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on Public Sexual Indecency, Sexual Abuse and Molestation of a child. He is currently out on a $250,000 bond.

Hilda B. Juarez, 53, of Dome Valley, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on one count of Failure to Report neglect of a minor. She is currently out on a $10,000 bond.
