Police respond to armed robbery at local business

Officers from the Yuma Police Department responded to Party Time Market at 595 West 1st Street for an armed robbery Saturday morning, according to the Yuma Police Department.

Police responded to the business at around 11 a.m. Yuma Police said that a man entered the business while displaying handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied with the request, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the area on foot.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, black sweat pants, and a bandana covering his face, according to police.

No injuries were reported.
