Arizona’s minimum wage will go up again, this time by $0.50 starting next year. Minimum wage has not just been rising for AZ, but CA as well. As a result, some businesses have reported they are increasing the cost of items for customers because of the minimum wage increase. The Cold Stone Creamery in Yuma said they took out a discount they offered for customers and increased their prices because of the minimum wage increase.

A car insurance agent also said they increased their car insurance prices as well because of the minimum wage increase.One individual in California saw it rise over $200 for their annual cost. However, we had a reporter speak with locals in Yuma who are happy that minimum wage is increasing.
