House of Representatives Retains Outside Counsel to Investigate Sexual Harassment Allegations
The Arizona House of Representatives retained Craig Morgan of the law firm Sherman & Howard to investigate sexual harassment allegations at the Legislature Wednesday.
Morgan has significant experience in tribal litigation, business litigation, appellate work, and media law. Morgan served as special counsel to the House Ethics Committee in 2012 during its investigation into former Representative Daniel Patterson.
“I agree with the decision of the House’s sexual harassment investigative team to retain Craig Morgan to conduct the investigation into allegations of sexual harassment at the Legislature,” said Speaker Mesnard. “I have confidence that Mr. Morgan will fairly and thoroughly investigate this matter in a timely manner.”
Seven women have come forward making claims against the state representative Don Shooter from Yuma.
