Border Patrol arrests two sex offenders near the border

Two sex offenders were arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents after they tried to come into the country illegally.

The incident happened near Ocotillo at around 2:20 a.m. near Ocotillo when agents saw the two men coming into the U.S.

Both men, who are Mexican nationals, ages 24 and 26, were convicted in the State of Nevada for lews acts with a minor.

“These two arrests highlight the importance of knowing who is coming into the United States. The two sex offenders our Border Patrol Agents arrested took advantage of and preyed on minors,” said Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim.
