Yuma political figure aims for unprecedented office

Yuma native, Jonathan Lines, is seeking what is arguably one of the most powerful positions within the republican party in the state of Arizona.

If elected, Lines would be making history as the first candidate from rural Arizona to hold the position.

Lines has been Yuma County’s Republican party chairman for the last six years. He has also been the state party treasurer since January 2015.
