Shoppers head back for returns and sales

Christmas is over and shoppers are heading back in line for the returns and the sales.

I caught up with shoppers at Yuma Palms Mall, to ask what brought them out the day after Christmas.

Kelly Venti, was returning gifts she received from a friend, that she didn’t really care for.

“Yes, I returned some pants and a watch. She had the receipt, so I had to tell her. She’d rather have me buy something that I like than not wear it at all.”

This year, the National Retail Foundation estimates 2.2 billion worth of returns, an increase from last year.

Gustavo Castro is another shopper at the mall but, is not doing a return for himself.

“I am returning a shirt that my sister bought for her father in law and it didn’t fit. I usually just keep it even if I don’t like I don’t like to say anything.”

If it’s not “returns”, shoppers are making, they’re in line for the sales.

“No returns, everything was wonderful. Oh,I love to shop before and after, I’m a shopper.”
