Beltone asking for clothes donations for the needy this holiday season
The holiday season is upon us and an agency in Yuma County is giving back to the community.
Beltone Hearing Company is doing a nationwide clothing drive. Yuma is the only city in the Grand Canyon State participating in this drive. If anyone in the community wants to help out and donate, they can donate coats, scarves, gloves and even under garments as long as it’s new. The company will be collecting clothes the entire month of December.
If a deaf patient donates a clothing article, they will receive a free pack of batteries. However, anyone in the community is encouraged to help.
The clothing will be donated to Crossroad Mission. The office is accepting clothes at their 11665 S. Fortuna Road location from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
