Local Business Owners Prepare for Prop 206

The recently passed Proposition 206 will affect all of Arizona by increasing the minimum wage from $8.05 an hour to $12.00. It will be a gradual increase–the minimum wage will first reach $10.00 in 2017 and increase to $12.00 in 2020.

One local official says the proposition will negatively impact businesses, but some classic and new business owners have already been working toward giving their current employees that pay rate.
