Since 1918, the 11th day of the 11th month has always been set aside to pay tribute to the men and women of the armed forces.

Across the country communities have their own traditions to honor our nations greatest heroes. In Virginia, President Obama visited Arlington National Cemetery where as is tradition he laid a wreath for our fallen.
