Newly elected Calexico City Council member sees new opportunity to serve again

Fourteen candidates ran for three available seats in the Calexico City Council. Elected City Council Member Bill Hodge said being an elected city official represented another opportunity to make a difference in the city.

“I am deeply appreciative that the people are giving me another chance. And some amends I’m going to make. And I am going to work hard to make a difference in Calexico. I will collaborate but I will initiate in many areas and I will move forward if I can,” Hodge said.

Bill Hodge had served previously in the Calexico City Council from 2010-2014. He served as mayor in 2014.
