Annual Shrimp Fest takes over San Felipe Malecon

The 16th Annual San Felipe Tropical Shrimp Festival predicts this year may have been the best one yet.

It happened on Saturday and Sunday on the city’s boardwalk also known as ‘malecon’ area.

Around 15,000 people were expected to attend.

Vendors, artists, and restaurants had exhibits.

On the menus was pretty much all the shrimp you could think of along with typical cuisine.

Admission is free and the event is expected to make a return next year.

San Felipe, Baja California Mexico is located about three hours south of Yuma and El Centro.
