Topic of the Day: Halloween

13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts:

History.com puts Halloween as being more than a thousand years old, created during the Celtic Festival of Samhain also called the Festival of the Dead.

Once the harvest ended villagers would dress up, light bonfires and dance to ward off roaming ghosts. Around the world many celebrate the day for a variety of reasons and do it their own special way. In the U.S. the tradition has become more of a child’s day to pretend and collect candy.
