High-risk sex offender gets a new place in Yuma

A high-risk sex offender who was convicted in Indiana has a new address in the Foothills.

Edward Silver, 58, is now living in the area of Fortuna Road and E. Interstate 8, according to a press release issued by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.

Silver was convicted in November 2005 for one count of attempted criminal sexual contact with a minor in Elk Township, Indiana. Silver’s victims were a nine and an 11-year-old girl.
