2026 Wine Pairing Fundraising Event happening next month

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Locals across Yuma County are invited to attend the 2026 Wine Pairing Fundraising Event.

The event is taking place Saturday, November 7, at 5 p.m. at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church's Friel Centre, located 11545 E. 40th Street. This is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

During the event, there will be appetizers, a silent auction, and a five-course wine pairing class, with Jan Meinl serving as guest presenter.

The wine and appetizer pairing menu has the following items:

• Goat cheese
• Peach chutney on a crostini linguine
• Italian cured ham in white sauce
• Smoked salmon
• Basil aioli on flatbread
• Braised beef with veggies on polenta
• Chocolate tart with berries and whipped cream
